Blocky
This one has a rainbow gradient as the background, referencing his icon in BFB. The dark gradient is meant to reference his past as the prankster on Blocky’s Funny Doings International.
Because not all contestants were in BFB, which would prompt the creation of those icons (some of those contestants were TPOT debut candidates or BFDI Mini contestants). I decided to make icons for all contestants for the sake of a consistent style.

She makes pretty much the same pose as her BFDIA intro pose. I made the impression she is teaching some sort of class. The marks on the board are the emitters in the Sitelen Pona symbol for sona (sona), itself made up of emitters and the symbol for lipu (lipu).
The pink background is meant to evoke bubble gum, a lot of which is pink.
The green background is a reference to the green screen, a tool as essential to filmmaking as the clapboard.
I’m pretty sure I chose this shade of green because it is associated with the US$1 bill. Its historical versions had deeper shades of green.
The trail colors are meant to represent the colors of Mastercard and Visa, the two giants of credit cards.
CRT is just…standing on a desk?
Dora is shown with her back to a body of water, which is a reference to a scene from Dora the Explorer referenced in memes where Dora’s perceived blindness is called “Ultra Blind Pro Max” or something.
I guess a yellow lightning bolt against a cyan background works well.
Eraser said, “RUN!” And he seems to be loving it!
An overt reference to the “This is fine” meme.
I can’t say much about this one. The dark brown mass is supposed to represent something burned to a crisp, but I think I did a bad job at communicating that.
The Sitelen Pona symbol for seli (seli). But I’d say the rays could be interpreted as if something appeared.
She looks so carefree riding the wind…
Is she trying to detach herself from the wall? I don’t know!
I intended for Match to rub herself against a sandpaper scraper. I don’t think I did a good job, but it’s at least clearer than with Firey Jr…
I put him in a marsh. Wood may not be immune to water that marshes are made up of, but in Kanto, the Marsh Badge and Soul Badge have their names swapped, likely by mistake. Koga is a ninja, specializing in the Poison type, and pollutants can be found in marshes.
PDA’s page on the BFDI Wiki says PDA bears a striking resemblance to the Apple Newton. So I put them in an Apple store, though the image surely doesn’t reflect it because the background isn’t detailed…
I intentionally made the background this gold color similar to the one in the logo of Bic, the company that made ballpoint pens accessible to the entire world with their product called the Bic Cristal. Pen’s cap is pretty similar to the Cristal’s cap as well. The background is also similar to the Bic Orange’s color.
Pin looks so bossy this way…
The cyan–white–cyan gradient is meant to represent the inside of a freezer.
The background is a circuit board. The Morse above says, “MUD”. In the episodes, Roboty speaks in Morse.
Do you think they are in a kitchen? I believe that. Rubber spatulas are made for the kitchen.
I don’t have much to say about this one, so I just chose a color to contrast Bubble.
I liked the original icon, so I just put in the pose from the intro. This shade of crimson matches his hotheaded personality.
Steamy is a calm one, also riding the wind.
Tack looks happy running through the grassland!
Tennis Ball…is trying to be useful at the court?
The background depicts the EBU colour* bars.
The background goes from orange to gray, which to me indicates that VHS cassettes are just another part of history.
Woody is posing this way to show that he isn’t as fearful as before!
This one has a scribble in the background. The Bubble Transformer was depicted as a scribble.
